Sydney based. Working with Australian businesses.

    AI consulting for
    Australian businesses.

Find the useful opportunity. Build the right system. Help your team use it.

Practical AI, from the first decision to everyday use.

Flipside AI is a Sydney-based consultancy helping Australian businesses plan, build and adopt AI. We work on workflow automation, voice agents, website assistants and custom AI systems, with training for the people who use them. Start with one process and a clear outcome.

    Start here

Choose the problem before the platform.

A useful first project has a repeatable task, an owner and a result you can check. Bring us a workflow that slows your team down, and we’ll help work out whether AI belongs in the solution.

    • Enquiries sit unanswered while someone updates the CRM.
    • People keep asking the same colleague for client or project context.
    • Staff copy the same information between several tools.
    • Your team has AI tools but is unsure how to use them well.
    Your engagement

    Plan. Build. Train.

    01

    Plan

Review the workflow, compare existing tools with custom options and set priorities. Agree the scope, success measure and approval points before building.

    02

    Build

Connect the necessary systems and test against real examples. Define what the system can do, what needs review and what happens when it cannot complete a task.

    03

    Train

Practise with your team’s own tasks. Leave clear guidance on how to use the system, check its output and get support when the workflow changes.

    Make the decision clearer

    What to agree before investing.

Ask for a defined scope, the systems involved, what access is needed and how the result will be tested. Include software subscriptions, human review and maintenance when comparing costs.

Keep a person responsible for sensitive or high-impact decisions. Choose what information the system can access and who can approve actions. These choices belong in the project plan.

Our initial 15-minute discovery call is free. Detailed planning, implementation and support are scoped separately. It is a first conversation about fit, not a full project design.

    Questions, answered

    AI consulting in Australia.

01What does an AI consultant do?

An AI consultant helps a business decide where AI is useful, choose suitable tools and put them into everyday work. Flipside AI combines planning, implementation and team training, starting with a specific business process rather than a list of AI products.

02Does Flipside AI work with businesses across Australia?

Yes. Flipside AI is based in Sydney and works with Australian businesses. The first step is a free 15-minute discovery call to discuss your workflow, goals and the support you need.

03How much does AI consulting cost in Australia?

There is no single price that fits every AI project. Flipside AI offers a free 15-minute discovery call, then scopes paid work around the process, integrations, data preparation, testing and training required. Software subscriptions and ongoing support should be considered alongside the initial build.

04Is AI consulting suitable for a small business?

It can be, when there is a specific task worth improving. A useful starting point is repeated admin, missed enquiries or information that is difficult to find. If a simpler software change or standard automation solves the problem, that may be the better choice.

05Do we need custom AI or can we use tools we already have?

Start by checking your existing tools. Custom AI is most useful when the work needs business-specific knowledge, several connected systems or controls that an off-the-shelf tool does not provide. We help you compare the options before committing to a build.

06How do we measure whether an AI project worked?

Record a baseline before the project: time spent per task, response times, error rates or incomplete handovers. Test the new workflow against that baseline, include the time spent reviewing AI output and account for software and support costs.

07What happens after the AI system is built?

The handover includes training and guidance so your team understands the workflow, its limits and when to involve a person. Ongoing support and changes are scoped around the system and your team’s needs.
